, I combine classic yet contemporary techniques and harmonious combinations of more tightly rendered and loose brushstrokes. I use color to entice the viewer. The browns, ochres and golds of my sepia toned paintings convey nostalgia and my full color pieces introduce unexpected combinations to lead the eye around the work and leave the viewer visually entertained.
, I paint from my heart, There is something personal and identifiable in each piece. Some noncommissioned pieces are painted to satisfy my heart, such as the vineyard paintings, most of the sports series, most of the still lifes and the patriotic pieces.
