I love cooking.

All the amazing aromas that come from preparing wonderful food inspires me. As a young child I remember watching my mother and helping in the kitchen as she prepared the family meal. I cherish those memories as they are the foundations upon which my enthusiasm for cooking is built.

As I have grown so has my passion for great cuisine. I love diving into cookbooks, researching and exploring the culinary depths. I enjoy experimenting with unique and diverse recipes, discovering new and imaginative recipes and creating tantalizing menus from these gastronomic adventures. It was only after 8 years as an Account Executive, that I realized that there was something missing and decided to devote my time and skills to that which I truly loved. It was with the great support of my husband, family and friends that I began Modern Gourmet.
