The members of First Church of Christ Scientists, Hermosa Beach, warmly welcome you to our services. Each member of our congregation regularly prays for healing of themselves and the world at large.

Through this prayerful work we are seeing dramatic examples of God's infinite healing power and unlimited supply for all.

Sunday Service is at 10:00 A.M. The service includes hymn singing, prayer, and a Lesson-Sermon reading from our dual pastors: the King James Version of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.

These lesson's citations can be found in The Christian Science Quaterly. Each week's lesson is the basis of daily Bible study and inspiration around the world.

Our Christian Science Sunday School welcomes students up to the age of 20. Students are taught the Scriptures, beginning with the Ten Commandments, The Sermon on The Mount and The Lord's Prayer. Children are taught truths about God and Man that become daily guides to healing physical ills, handling the pressures of school, as well as personal and family problems.

Wednesday Evening Testimony Meetings are at 7:30 P.M. On Wednesday evenings Christian Scientists share their experiences of the present healing power of Christ Jesus' teachings and legacy. The one hour meetings include hymn singing, prayer, and timely readings from the Bible and Science and Health.

Child Care is provided for young children during the Sunday and Wednesday services.

You are invited to take or purchase a variety of Christian Science literature which is available in our Reading Room. The Reading Room is uniquely designed to provide a quiet , private place for study and prayer for all who are seeking physical and emotional healing and want to learn more about God and God's scientific system of healing.

A number of reference tools are available in the Reading Room, including Bible reference books, a collection of Christian Science periodicals, and computer research programs.

The Reading Room is located on the lower level of the building on Palm Drive. It is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Hours are subject to change.
